The exchange of two participants from the Institute of languages FME BUT took place within the period of 9 June - 20 June 2007 with the following programme:

introductory visit to Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie du Jura in Lons le Saunier, meeting with the Director of CCI Educational Centre (Michel Meuret) and language teachers, instructions about the programme of observations
experience with the use of jointly developed materials in the courses of professional technical English (Writing Professional English, and a newly planned project CADOS, which was aproved from 1/11/2007. A discussion over other projects from the area of technical English developed by the partner institution with the follow - up exchange of experience (Michel Meuret and Bernard Vallauri).
observations in the selected course of professional English in the Language centre in Lons le Saunier (run by Bernard Vallauri), discussion with course participants from regional companies, evaluation and exchange of experience with a follow - up discussion with the course leader with the aim to acquire knowledge about the methods applied in the partner institutions throughout teaching of engineering English. In the afternoon, exchange beneficiaries took part in another observation of the company course - EUROSTAT Group (run by Liz Meuret) and an excursion to the company with English commentary.
visit and observations in the selected course of professional English in the language centre subsidiary of CCI in Dole, discussion with course participants from regional companies (Bourbon technologie, Lavachequirit), evaluation and exchange of experience with a follow - up discussion with the course leader with the aim to acquire knowledge about the methods applied in the partner institutions throughout teaching of engineering English.

evaluation of the acquired knowledge and materials with a final discussion with the head of the language centre in Lons le Saunier (Michel Meuret) with a special emphasis on the development of course curricula, on - line materials including tests and similar evaluation tools. A discussion over the possibilities of development of joint materials for the use in the industrial companies, particularly in engineering, and observations in the company course with an excursion to the company workshops with English commentary (GICEP) in Courlaoux.
cultural programme prepared by the partner institutions with the aim to make the project participants familiar with the Jura region.
continuing visit and observations in the language centre of CCI subsidiary in Morez, discussion with course participants from regional companies (e.g. L'Amy group focused on the production of eyewear and optics), evaluation and exchange of experience with a follow - up discussion with the course leader (Bernard Vallauri) with the aim to acquire knowledge about the methods applied in the partner institutions throughout teaching of engineering English.
